New Year's Eve Jitters

In about a few hours, I'm about to get ready for my DJ debut at the Village Pub. I'm a bit nervous 'cause it's my first pro gig. Lucky that I didn't plan to go to South Lake Tahoe for New Year's, it's crazy like Mardi Gras crazy. Hope it's a start 'cause I need the money and save enough for a house. People though that I'm moving to Reno after grad, but I wasn't 'cause that's my mom's plan. I'm at the age that I want to settle down here in Lake Tahoe, marry a woman and have kids. Maybe my lucky will change. Just recently, I've been email my ex fiance Tricia. We have this on and off long distance relationship for almost 1 1/2 years. Now, that we're back together again, my main focus is to save by the gigs and hopefully be a resident DJ in Lake Tahoe. I think this lake needs to brighten up and turn it up.

Almost time for New Year

Two more days til my first DJ gig at the Village Pub, and I'm stuck home with my daughter and my nephew driving me crazy as always. Nephew is playing this gorilla toy that plays Gonna make you Sweat by CC Music Factory. Thanks to my parents for buying toys that music that I know from the radio. OMG!! Kids are kids, gotta love them, LOL! All day long, I've been recording music for the Bash. Never know if people like 80's, hip-hop, or dance mix. If I do good, hopefully get reconized by casinos for the resident DJ job like my cousins from Reno.

Winter Wonderland hits Lake Tahoe

It's now snowing in Lake Tahoe, and I just got done with Christmas shopping. Now at home, we're having Chinese. Talk about Christmas Story. Earlier, I was helping my dad put up the Christmas decor. My family celebrates Christmas every year, it's a Catholic thing. The only thing I'm so excited is my DJ debut at the Village Pub. Hopefully get hired as the resident DJ, like my cousins in Reno. Well, I wish for those who read my blogs a Happy Holidays.

Week after Grad

It's been a week since I offically passed all my classes and graduated from SNC. My last semester was rough and sad at the same time. At first, I thought that I was gonna give up my taste for art by going to the police academy (thanks to my no-good ex gf). But I never gave up my dreams as an sound artist. The classes were hard, especially Modern Art History and Senior Ethics. But I pulled it off by working my butt off. LOL Ericka, the Art History teacher, was very pleased about my report about Frida Kahlo. Everybody knows that I love her artwork. As for senior ethics, bringing Playboy mags for a final presention was funny, even Larry was looking at them. I owe it to all my teachers and classmates who gave me the motivation to work hard. Right now, I'm a mobile DJ here in the Lake Tahoe area. The Village Pub here in Incline Village has just hired me to be their DJ for their New Year's Eve Bash. If anybody in this area are here for the holidays, come and see me spin.

Right now, I'm in a search for a soulmate. However, I do have a secret crush on someone from SNC. NOOOOOOO! It's not Bianca (total drama queen)! I told two ladies from my classes that I have a crush on Ericka. Like there is something that I like from her, which is hard to explain. I do enjoy going to art shows, not just for the food and booze, but just to show support to my classmates. They say that we are a good match, but I don't know if she wants to be a lesbian overnight. Of course, I know that it's against policy for a teacher to date a student. However, now that I'm not a student anymore, I guess this is acceptable. Who knows? But we'll see.

Final Farewell

I wanna thank the Art department for the encouragement and the pleasure of sharing the friendship. Since this is my last semester I will always be here in Lake Tahoe DJing. I wish to stay in touch. I really hate saying good-byes so here is my way of saying. This video is a tribute to the SNC art department.
